Steve Elliott - I thought you were very professional Melissa and the point about getting off your butt made the point well - don't just sit back! Haha. Shame the camera man wasn't so professional lol. When you were speaking his attention should have switched to the pretty photographer.
martin zuckermann - well, one could hardly notice the "butt", it was cute. You looked taller.
ya, light subject-light background and viceversa, nicely said.
"...get off their butts", ha ha ha. Sent the message, that's for sure :)

Kara Layne - Melissa, you are too funny! I didn't even think anything of it when I watched. You did fabulous, honey!
Michelle Meyer - Woo-hoo! That is so awesome. Great job!:)
Ericha Farrington - Congrats Melissa! That was a great segment, very informative! The pictures came out awesome!!! I've definitely found for myself that getting closer to the subject is key!
Jodi - WOW! I think you did great! Great tips too!
Melissa Jill :) - I did use my 50 1.2 for the shoot. As for my settings, they aren't really the thing that matters. The important factor is that I was shooting in consistent light. The light on the subject is the same as that on the background. It was hard to see that in the video because the video just showed the patchiness of the light at every other angle. The angle I shot these at had shade in the background. As long as you have that, you just meter through your camera and get a good exposure. My settings were ISO 320, 1/1600 at 2.2. :)
Christine Pinalto - Nice segment, Melissa. I'm sure all the parents out there were eating up the advice! Curious what lens you used- your new 1.2? I'm also curious on your settings. Do you mind sharing?. . . this AZ summer sun is so rough and the balance between the shade and the stark bright sun is tricky. Seems I often Photoshop light and dark in my shots to compensate.
Greggerjo - Great job, friend! What a cool opportunity!
Lizzie - Aw Melissa, you are too cute!! You did an awesome job and definitely made me smile!
