sara from whitebox - dixie is so cute. she looks so glam in the first shot. you will always treasure these photos. thanks for your sweet words about ivey. miss you!
EverafterImages - Melissa, did you see a big difference between the 50mm 1.4 VS 1.2 ? I've often considered the upgraded - but haven't taken the plunge..
Jennifer Hague - Ooooooh, Dixie reminds me so much of my new baby schnauzer. Aren't they the cutest breed in the entire world? Well we might be biased. :) I love using Remington as my model too. Fabulous pics as always!
Casey Figlewicz - You are gonna love your new camera! Its amazing! I love mine!!
Gail - Shoot - I have been looking for a second 5D for a back-up body! Somebody beat me to it!!!
Glad you were able to get those off your hands Melissa!

Tanya Mills - Congrats on your new purchases! Looks like you're having fun with them already! :)
Melissa Jill :) - I love it when my posts start arguments in the comments :).
brett maxwell - Dustin, depending on the scale you use, it's actually both (link), but every photographer I know uses the 1/3-stop scale.
Tira J - Yay for the 50 1.2! You are going to LOVE it! We haven't upgraded our bodies yet. Sounds so funny! :) I just did an entire engagement session with the 85 1.2 and it worked like a charm.
Dustin Francis - Sweet! The 50 f/1.2 L is such an amazing lens and really is a nice jump up form the 50 f/1.4. Congrats on that and the fabulous 5D Mark II as well! P.S. Brett, it's not a third of a stop between the f/1.4 and f/1.2, it's half a stop :)
Alan Woo - I've heard the Sigma has focusing issues.

amanda (amanda fales photography) - Hello! I LOVE your blog. I've been following for months and think that you're fantastic! :)
I might be interested in your 85mm 1.8! Would you ship to Indianapolis? :)
brett maxwell - Not sure what you meant by "the extra stop", but it's only 1/3 stop more light with the 1.2. I'm sure you know that, but don't want others to be confused.
Also, the Sigma 50 f1.4 is an AWESOME lens that is debatably as good as the Canon 1.2 (and undebatably way better than the Canon 1.4) and at under $500. Just a tip for your readers on a bit of a budget.
