I lived in Minnesota until I was 12. I don't have the sharpest memory of my childhood but I do remember fondly the times my family went apple picking. We would take a hay ride out to the orchard and pick apples while eating them. It was such a fun Fall activity to do with my family.
So when I came up with my 101 in 1001 goals list, it just seemed right to put "Go Apple Picking" on it. It had been too long.
Even though the orchard was closed on Wednesday, it worked out for us to stop at a different orchard on our drive in to New York City yesterday. The weather was amazing and we had a blast! |
