Ashley is my new, and already beloved, office assistant, who started with me in October. She works part time in the office helping with all the systems of the business from workflow to product fulfillment to project management and most recently album design. She is such a hard worker and a total sweetheart. I love having her around and already rely on her so much.
I guess she's also a great daughter because last week she threw her mom a 50th birthday party and her mom was thrilled. Here they are together:
Can you believe the cuteness? Ashely's family was all so kind to me and it was great to meet them all:
Ashley's parents:
I was impressed with the work Ashley did to pull together old photos and special memorabilia.
Her family had fun looking through it all:
Thanks so much for being so great Ashley! I feel blessed to have found you!
Here's yet another cute family who I've gotten the chance to hang out with lately and shoot their photos. Don, Denise and Quinn opted to do their portrait shoot in their beautiful Scottsdale home. It was a great location with tons of natural light. And these guys were total naturals as well--I love how cuddly they were with each other.
Seven-year-old Quinn showed off her fort in the backyard. I love this candid shot I got of her:
More of my favorites from the shoot:
The family dog got to be in a few shots too--he gave us a challenge but we still got a few good ones :).
My precious baby-doggie is now 9 months old. She's sweet and I can no longer live without her but she is also a little stinker. My roommate came home tonight and yelled down to me after coming across this:
I got these beautiful flowers from a sweet boy I've been dating and I guess Dixie found them tasty. She chewed up two and a half roses and apparently wasn't as attracted to the yellow flower. She looked pretty guilty as I scolded her:
I shot John and Kim's wedding last November and was thrilled when they wanted to get together for family portraits this year. And they already have a new little addition to their family! Sam arrived 4 weeks early and here he is--5 weeks old:
SUCH a cutie!
Kim scheduled this shoot not only to get photos of the little guy but also as a gift to her mother who has been wanting to do this for years. Here's Kim's cute parents:
Just wanted to share with everyone that I was recently accepted to photographik.org -- a great site for brides who are looking for quality wedding photographers. I do a select amount of web advertising and try to find sites where clients who really value photography might look. And this site seems to fit the bill. Check out my listing by clicking here.
I just found out from Jesse that they are about ready to release a site redesign, so I'm excited for that as well! After they release the new site, they will be accepting new applications so definitely consider the possibility of joining--the more GREAT photographers, the better!
